Today we present a new Android TV Box with SoC AmLogic S812 with the name of K2 , this is the big brother of the K1 models we’ve seen recently, which rode the SoC S805, simpler but incorporating TDT and Satellite receiver.
As we can see the K2 TV Box has a very classic design and features two external wireless antennas that provide coverage for wireless connection Dual Band 2.4 / 5GHz, as we also mounts four USB 2.0 ports which allows us to connect large numbers of peripherals, in the same area we have a SD card reader and an LED where the button is. At the rear of K2 have the rest of connectors on them highlights the port Gigabit Ethernet, K2 also features HDMI 1.4 output, optical SPDIF audio and video output A/V analog. The SoC S812 chosen for this TV Box also natively supports hardware decoding of H.265 video codec and perfectly moves XBMC or KODI. The device runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
